Navigating through COVID-19

The South African government has imposed far-reaching restrictions to daily life and economic activity, and we have been engaging with the relevant authorities, unions and other stakeholders to understand the impact of these measures on our operations.
In the wake of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as well as the now implemented National Lockdown that has been declared within South Africa by President Cyril Ramaphosa, please take note of the following.

- Closing our offices:
We are temporarily closing access to our offices in Gauteng and Cape Town from the 26th of March. This shutdown will be in place until 16th April 2020 as directed by Government and will be reviewed after this date. All PMT operations will continue as usual, providing continuous development and support.
Remote work policies have been in place since our inception, and therefore already offers flexible working locations and a strong foundation and structures that support remote work.
- Online Support:
Our existing 24/7/365 client support continues to operate as usual.
Whilst Pattern Matched Technologies is working with all our staff and suppliers to ensure as little interruption as possible over this difficult time ahead, it’s clear that we remain dependent on national electronic infrastructure, and any staff that may fall ill will be booked off for the recommended period. We believe that there may be delays resulting from various unplanned scenarios that could play out during this time, and that we will do best efforts, at all times to ensure business delivery continuity.
