
Navigating through COVID-19
Pattern Matched Technologies would like to provide an update relating to the impact of COVID-19 on its operations. The South African government has imposed far-reaching restrictions to daily life and economic activity, and we have been engaging with the relevant authorities, unions and other stakeholders to understand the impact of these measures on our operations.
In the wake of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as well as the now implemented National Lockdown that has been declared within South Africa by President Cyril Ramaphosa, please take note of the following.
Pattern Matched Technologies (Pty) Ltd has and will continue to make it our primary objectives to ensure business continuity as well as to protect the health and safety of our staff by preventing the further spread of the disease and as such has on 2020-03-18 initiated full remote work continuity plans enabling all our staff to work remotely without disruption. Pattern Matched Technologies will continue our remote work in light of the recent National Lockdown and will endeavour to keep providing our clients with the high level of quality and support they have come to expect from Pattern Matched Technologies.
Our Offices

- Closing our offices:
We are temporarily closing access to our offices in Gauteng and Cape Town from the 26th of March. This shutdown will be in place until 16th April 2020 as directed by Government and will be reviewed after this date. All PMT operations will continue as usual, providing continuous development and support. - Work-from-Home:
Remote work policies have been in place since our inception, and therefore already offers flexible working locations and a strong foundation and structures that support remote work. - Online Support:
Our existing 24/7/365 client support continues to operate as usual.
Our Partners
Whilst Pattern Matched Technologies is working with all our staff and suppliers to ensure as little interruption as possible over this difficult time ahead, it’s clear that we remain dependent on national electronic infrastructure, and any staff that may fall ill will be booked off for the recommended period. We believe that there may be delays resulting from various unplanned scenarios that could play out during this time, and that we will do best efforts, at all times to ensure business delivery continuity.

World Health Organization (WHO) preventative measures:
- Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
- Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
